* Barrel futurity open
to any horse, which is a foal of 2005 or younger. Derby
is for foals of 2003 and
after. Maturity is for horses that
have been paid up
in either
derby OR futurity in previous years.

will run
together.
* Futurity entries
must not have competed in barrel racing prior to
December
1,
2009. Horse may have
competed in other events.
* Owners do not have
to ride the horse. Riders may ride more than one
horse. Male or female rider.
Rider
MUST be named by August 1st.
* A copy of the
horse’s registration papers, front and back, must
be included
with nomination.
Unregistered
horses must include a veterinarian’s
affidavit
of year of
birth and a complete description.
* Nominations are
due June 1st. No refunds. First
payment must accompany nomination (see payment
schedule below).
Late nominations
accepted -- after June 10, add $25.00,
after July 1 add $50.00 and
after August 1st, add
$100.00 in late fees.
* There will be
two go rounds and an average.
* A Breeders and
Open Amateur Division is being offered in 2010.
An Amateur must be
a Futurity
Entrant. An "Amateur Entry" is one who has never
won $501 and over in any and all barrel futurities
prior to
December 1, 2009. You MUST DESIGNATE your Amateur Status
on the enclosed entry form.
An entry fee of $60 is
required. If nominating for the "Amateur Entry"
in both the Breeders and Open
Futurity, an entry fee is required
for both. The Open Amateur division with 5 entries or
less will be
combined with the Breeders Amateur division. No additions or changes will be made
after August 1,
2010. The total purse is paid out on a
two go rounds and an average and a
blanket for each division will
be
awarded to fastest time on the two run average.
* All Futurity/Derby/Maturity
horses are required to have a current coggins and health
papers when
checking
horses in.
*
You may roll your time from the Breeders Futurity or
Derby run into the Open Futurity or
Derby,
and/or the Nebraska 4-D. You must declare
this at
the time of entry and have
entered
and paid
prior to
the start of the runs.
*
DRESS CODE: Long sleeve shirt and hat required for
futurity and derby.
No dress code
for Nebraska 4-D jackpots.
* NO TACK STALLS
unless approved by show management.
* WPRA
Futurity/Derby sidepot-horse must
have a completed nomination form on file in the WPRA
office
before competing.
* Nebraska 4-D
jackpots each day with added money.

YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!!!!!!
IF TIMER FAILS, you
will be given the choice of a re-run, or may take the
backup time. You must declare such before the backup
time is announced.
